Short Taster Courses
UKHSI are the only high school placement provider offering taster sessions to students before they enrol. Students can be placed into one of our English schools and host families, starting from as little as 2 weeks.
Similar to a foreign student exchange program, students get to experience life in a different culture, whilst quickly learning the English language as part of an immersion course. Learning the English language in this way has been proven to quickly improve spoken English as well as offering invaluable experiences and life-long friends.
With eight fantastic English schools to choose from, all within the stunning county of Sussex, foreign students will be staying just a short journey into London where they can take part in many additional cultural activities. The Sussex countryside provides plenty of culture, sight-seeing and activities for the weekends, whilst only being a short journey into London for historical & educational visits.
Student safety is our greatest priority and students are placed with experienced host families who have been police checked and who provide safe and comfortable accommodation. Students are provided with nutritious meals during their homestay and will live as part of the family where they are encouraged to speak English.
